Manual QA Engineer (70889)

Budapest / Full-time

For our client, we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join a web application development team.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of a newly built web-based platform through manual testing and close collaboration with the development team.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual test cases for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements.
• Identify, log, and verify defects, maintaining clear test documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in manual software testing (web applications preferred)
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Understanding of REST APIs and ability to test API responses
• Experience in functional and regression testing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Intermediate English: able to read specifications and document results in English, Internal team communication is in Hungarian.

Remote / Hybrid (1 onsite day/week in Budapest or Szeged)
