Mountain Biking for a Good Cause

For many years Capture has been supporting the charity organisation for Butterfly Children. This year Capture is again sponsoring of the campaign "Biking 4 Butterfly Children", which takes place from 6th to 8th September 2019 in the context of the World Games of Mountain Biking in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Salzburg.

The B4BC team consists of mountain bike enthusiasts of IT companies and their business partners, employees and friends – and Capture is part of it. Over the past 14 years, initiator and organizer Andreas Engelhardt succeeded in forming one of the largest fundraising campaigns for the "butterfly children". Our B4BC team collects donations for the research of Epidermolysis bullosa (ER = life-threatening genetic disorders that affect the skin). Thanks to this initiative, a total of 257,000 euros have been raised over the years.

In Austria, there are about 500 "butterfly children" whose skin is as vulnerable "like the wings of a butterfly". At the slightest stress, painful blisters and wounds form. Research and development to alleviate and cure this disease depend on private donations.

Our team fought rain and mud to help children in need. Nothing can stop us, in business and on the mountain either.
