We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can design, develop, and document robust, reusable, and unit-tested code in Python and Angular. You should have expertise in creating secure and well-structured API backends, interacting with MySQL databases via SQLAlchemy, and conducting system/integration testing.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain an internal data management system using technologies like Python, Angular, OpenAPI, MySQL, and Linux shell scripting.
• Design and implement new features while maintaining and enhancing existing functionalities for an online SaaS-based data management platform.
• Leverage cutting-edge Amazon AWS services to automate data transfer and standardization processes across various third-party systems.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and thorough documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong Computer Science foundation, supported by an MSc or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Angular development, API design, and Python backend development.
• Proficiency in design patterns and best practices for both frontend and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy, MySQL, Docker, AWS, and UX/CSS design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Git.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Eligibility to work in the EU and residence in Budapest, Hungary.
