We promised we would be back in the mountains

Whatever we do, we do it with passion. And we take it seriously.

We take seriously to get on our bikes and conquer the mountains - again. And we take seriously to commit ourselves to a good cause - always.

We have been supporting the charity organisation for Butterfly Children. This year again, we sponsored the campaign "Biking 4 Butterfly Children", which took place on 9-11 September 2022 at the World Games of Mountain Biking in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Salzburg.

The Biking for Butterfly Children team consists of mountain bike enthusiasts of IT companies and their business partners, employees and friends – and Capture is part of it. Over the past 15 years, initiator and organizer Andreas Engelhardt succeeded in forming one of the largest fundraising campaigns for the butterfly children. The team collects donations for the research of Epidermolysis bullosa (ER = life-threatening genetic disorders that affect the skin). Thanks to this initiative, a total of 270,000 euros have been raised over the years.

In Austria, there are about 500 butterfly children whose skin is as vulnerable as the wings of a butterfly. At the slightest stress, painful blisters and wounds form. Research and development to alleviate and cure this disease depend on private donations. This year, we contributed to raising funds for their cause.

But beyond the good cause, we also had fun.
