Highlights from the 25. World Games of Mountainbiking
The first weekend of September has become a tradition for our team, and this year was no exception. From 6-8 September 2024, we were back in the picturesque village of Saalbach-Hinterglemm for the Bike for Butterfly Children charity event, with even more energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit than ever before.
Once again, our united Capture and Tricise team came together to take part in this incredible event. We took on the trails with the same determination and passion that drives us every year. Under the bright sunshine and fresh mountain air, we were reminded that there’s nothing better than combining teamwork, outdoor adventure, and charity.
As in previous years, the Biking 4 Butterfly Children Team competed at the Worldgames of Mountainbiking, joining nearly 200 athletes from around the world to ride for a cause close to our hearts. Together, we tackled steep climbs and winding trails, all while raising donations to support research and care for children with Epidermolysis Bullosa—also known as the "Butterfly Children."
A special highlight of this year’s event was the incredible performance of one of our team members, who achieved an amazing 3rd place in her category for the Marathon42—an impressive 42.77 km ride with an altitude gain of 1,985 meters! Kriszta's achievement reflects the dedication and endurance of our entire team and made us all proud to be part of such a meaningful cause.
Our 2024 ride was full of great memories, laughter, and plenty of kilometers covered, as always, we look forward to being part of this meaningful tradition again next year.
Take a look at our photos from the event, and thank you to everyone who supported us along the way! We can't wait to see you in 2025!
